Overview

Utility apps live or die on friction: the fewer taps between opening the app and completing the task, the more likely someone keeps using it. This concept reimagines a transit-and-delivery tracking app around single-thumb use and near-zero loading states.

The exercise covered the full core loop — track, schedule, notify — built as a tappable prototype to test real interaction patterns rather than static screens.

Designed for one thumb and no patience.

Thumb-Zone Layout

Every primary action sits within comfortable reach of one hand, informed by how the app is actually held in daily use.

Perceived Speed

Skeleton states and optimistic UI updates make the app feel instant even while real data is still loading.

Notifications That Earn Attention

Alerts are scoped tightly to what changes a user’s plans — not a stream of noise they learn to ignore.

A live site, built for real guests.

This case study reflects our work with BCDM Savar, from initial concept through to the live website at bcdmsavar.com.

Got a mobile product that needs to feel instant?

We prototype real interactions early, so the app feels right long before development starts.
